OIL MIST & PEOPLE DON’T MIX
The air is becoming much clearer. It all started with a
co-operative desire to work together for a better plant environment.
After a detailed study of competitive oil and coolant mist gathering
products, the Management, Health & Safety Team, and Production
representatives made a group decision to install a trial air purification
unit from Nutech Energy Systems Inc. (London) on five large Acme machines.
This high performance unit was closely monitored for five (5) weeks and
was purchased in mid-March, 2001 - based on highly positive feedback from
operators and a very noticeable change in the surrounding air quality.
Breathing new life into the plant has come about through Nutech's new
TFP (Turbulent Flow Precipitator) Eliminator oil mist product, The
team selected a 2500 CFM (flow capacity) for the initial trial and plans
to install more units soon to handle all areas of our long-established
fittings manufacturing facility,
How does this unique industrial technology work?
The TFP Eliminator =s turbulent flow precipitation (TFP) to Collect
even Very Small particle.5 with high efficiency.
Mist laden air is drawn through the collection cells, turbulent eddies
propel the mist droplets into the porous collector walls where they
accumulate and drain. The collected liquid can be gathered or
re-circulated back into the tooling machine. It outperforms all other oil-
or water-based mist collection methods by performing at over 99 percent
efficiency, with both low maintenance and energy costs.
So if your site is in the market to clean plant air by removing cutting
fluid/coolant mists, while simultaneously improving productivity and
T-educing maintenance cost, give serious consideration to this world-wide
patented technology, (Standard TFP Eliminator units are available from 500
CFM up to 10, 000 CFM, plus larger custom designs.)

Attention- Mr. Chris Schmelzle
Dear Chris,
I'm writing this letter as a follow up to the installation of three of
your mist eliminators at our location.
As you know, we were experiencing considerable problems with very fine
particles of oil from our press operations being airborne and causing
considerable damage to other equipment. This equipment consisted of
electronic machine controls, fine mechanical robotics, plating solutions,
etc. Over time damage to plant equipment had become a very costly
consequence. A check of the air quality in our plant by a reputable
contractor proved that we were well within ministry specifications,
however, this did not solve the odor problem that persisted.
With the installation of two of your 6000 CFM and one of your 2500 CFM
mist eliminators-, the problem has been drastically reduced, if not
eliminated. The larger units that you installed onto our mechanical
presses have proved to be more than adequate to solve our mist problems.
The smaller unit installed to reduce the odors from the vaporizing of
coolant used in our CNC turning operations, have also proved very
effective in eliminating the mist/odor problems we were experiencing.
After comparing the technology that your units employ, with other high
quality units in our facility, I found that the two systems are very
similar but your system was purchased at a much lower cost. The other
units that I am referring to are used to ventilate electroplating
solutions. These units were designed to exceed the state of California,
USA air quality requirements, which I'm told are some of the world's most
stringent.
In conclusion I would like to say that I am very pleased with the
manner in which you initially presented your equipment, the installation
and commissioning, and the follow up service that you have provided. I
definitely feel that you have a quality product and would like to commend
you and your staff for the manner in which you do business.

Dear Mike,
It’s been a year and a half since we installed your Nutech Mist
Eliminator. Our main goal was main goal was to eliminate our misting
problems and reduce our down time due to maintenance. We are pleased to say
that in this time frame, we have had no maintenance or misting problems.
We are looking forward to a continued business relationship with you
as we anticipate new projects in our other plants. Please do not hesitate to
contact me should you require a referral.
